This Blueberry smoothie is by far one of my favorite to make. I change up the veggie from time to time but love the rich and tar flavor or the frozen blueberries. When mixed with your non-dairy milk of choice it takes creamy and very dessert like while I think the coconut water makes its a little more fluid. I prefer coconut water, yet do it both ways on a regular basis.
Pictured is a lovely collection of some of my favorite toppings. I highly suggest slowly growing your topping collection as this can be a costly addition to your cabinets. I buy a lot of it at Trader Joes when I visit Portland or make a trip back home. A lot of the others are from Nativas Naturals, which can be purchased online. I try to avoid sugary topping and generally go for raw and unsweetened things such as cacao and raw seeds and nuts. I always have unsweetened coconut as it livens up every smoothie!
Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen broccolo or spinach
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup coconut water or almond milk
- Blend everything together
